Some people think mimes are just creepy. why do they think they are creepy?
and would a mime be allowed to cough? Just wondering sorry.

LOL, they aren't really creepy, my brother was one for Halloween when i was little, got the scared-ness out of me....
and i think mimes, from what i hear, they tale a "Vow of Silence" if their voice is included i don't think so, same for sneezing, let me look,

You might as well ask why wolves are frightening. They just are.Something in our instincts tells us to steer clear of strange, indistinct, silent, androgynous people who communicate with odd gestures.
Not to mention that a mime's face paint looks a LOT like that corpse paint that black metal bands use.
This is random but the only things my dad hates more than mimes are tap-dancing and puppets. One day for his birthday my mom and her brothers got a mime-puppet and taped bottle caps to it's feet and made it tap dance for my dad.

People find mimes creepy because absolute silence scares people. I don't find them creepy, just annoying.

I'm not sure why they are creepy, but to me they are and I never liked them nor do I want to be around them either!

I nver understood that as well when I saw it in U. S. shows... Perhaps because it's always shown as a French thing? I really don't know.

ok they paint their faces so you dont know who it is and they dont speak and they just make wierd gestures, thats creepy believe me. like clowns.
