I think the dynamic of life is that we never truly have it figured out.
I suppose by age 25, many people have made some of the major decisions in life. Many have decided on their careers and possibly life partners, but that's not all there is to life, and even those things depend on individual experience.
So if you're asking this because you're 25 and you don't have your life figured out, basically, you aren't behind.
I think life would be ruined once it was completely figured out.

I thought it was 30 and that 40 is the new 30. Actually, I thought the saying was that by 30, people are who they are. I've read in Wikipedia that over the age of 40, studies of the brain show that some genes change the way thy are expressed, they are "down-regulated." Hmm. But don't believe the hype. Remember this, placebo knee surgery is successful. It that's true, than it's all in your head.

No, but it is often true that by age 25, most people THINK they have their lives figured out. And then God throws them a curveball.

Not totally figured out,but you should know what you'd like to
do with yourself. No one will have their life totally figured out at
any age. You live you learn, you modify & adapt. And you never
stay the same. But you should have an idea where you want to
go by 25.

I hope not. I hope to have another 40 years or so, of not knowing what the hell is going on. Most people figure it out just enough to get by.

I know I didn't. I don't think that most people figure it out in time to do the very best in life that they could.

I hope not...!
I am still fining my way in life and personally think that you should always be trying to better yourself and try new trings. Life is always different so one can never "figure it out", but one can get at ease with this changing and make the most if it!

No, life keeps changing. Just when you think you have a handle on it, the next week or month comes along and makes things a little different. Like a good day and bad day situation.
