What is a soul? Does it have a shape?

I personally think that whats from the earth returns there and whats God's goes back to Him.

A soul is the essence of being. Can be shapeless or can take shape representative of the physical person. Ours souls will indeed be freed when our time here is done. Souls return to the other side to rest and rejuvenate before charting out another life plan and becoming reborn in order to learn and gain what is needed to move up the cosmic ladder. Once we have learned and experienced it all our souls will be allowed to forever partake in the beauty and glory of eternal light and sunshine, happiness, health and love.

Every live body has soul and spirit.Both soul and spirit have no a shape because they are like a light or a wind unseen but can be felt.When we asleep according to islamic teaching,our spirit are hold by our God and will be back when we awake.Our souls during our sleeps still be in our bodies.After we died our spirits and souls were separated from our bodies.Our bodies will buried.After funeral our God will release the spiriit to the buried body to have some questions from angles. which should be answered.

Our souls prove that God created man as man and not as some monkey who by a sudden mutation became man. Now if you don't believe in God then you don't believe in souls.
But since you're asking if our souls depart from our body once we die, you believe in God.
The soul is a shapeless spiritual creation of God. It's shapeless because it's not physical. And it separates from our body once we die because that is what God willed to happen. It will then go to Heaven for its reward or to Hell for punishment.
And no. We do not become angels once we enter Heaven. The Human Soul and the Angel are two different creations of God.

Yes that is the idea. the Pysical body will return to earth from whichit was made.
The Soul is the Spark of THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS that it threw off from its body befrore the making of the Physial world.
The first shape it will have is that of the body that it inhabated while it was animating it. after that no one knows. except that on the day of Judgement All souls will be drawen back into the body of THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS. both good and evil

It hopefully will. I would hate to be stuck underground in a rotting corpse of burnt up in a few minutes. A soul is energy and takes on whatever shape it wants. It will usually represent what you looked like in life because that is most usual for yourself.

In my opinion, your soul is you. It's your personality, it's what you like to do, and what you don't like to do. God built our bodies as machines, but he also gave us a soul so we can do what we want with them.
