Orlando area usually tops the travespots for families and kids. For adults only, Las Vegas with side trips to Hoover Dam and/or Grand Canyon usually tops the list. Also, both Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon are good trips for kids. Of course, it depends on what you want to do for vacation. The beaches in Florida, California, and Texas are also a good bet. Other good places include Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN (Smoky Mountains), Williamsburg, VA (Colonial themes), and most any good water parks. Have a good trip, no matter where it is!

Las Vegas is one of the best spot. Can have fun, wedding, nice food, show, and shoppiing. Not too far north to California, south you may go to Grand Canyon. Many nice choices.

Boston, baby!
The place where it all started. Home of the red sox, the boston bruins, the celtics (who aren't that good of a basketball team...)
there's the museum of fine art
theres all kinds of historical stuff,
And Quincy Market (go to beard papa's)
and its also near SALEM, mass, home of the legendary salem witch trails! You could probably find some cool stuff to do in boston. I LOVE boston!

Stay away from New York....too many people and it doesn't give the right idea of what America is, used to, but not now. Go somewhere off the beaten path.

What we usually do, is travel from LA ( Themeparks, studios, outlet shopping centers) then go to Las Vegas.
