You do realize Vampires are fictional right?...
As for where they were born? that depends on what legend you subscribe to... there are several, the most common being Vlad The Impaler - Dracula Lore that is set in Transylvania...
But there are several other legends, names like Lestat may be familiar to you... I think, if your have no hints as to which "kind" of Vampires its relatively safe to choose Transylvania, if you think it might be some other kind of Vampire Lore then some more specific reasearch might be in order...
Note: theres probably also many accounts of real Vampires - but I doubt any are proven, commonly these kinds of stories are adapted for television snippets like "Fact or Fiction - Beyond Belief" or "Believe it or not!"... Question is, are they true?
