Nah... for only two hours? The mind will cause you to think of something else than focus only at the door knob. If you'll focus your attention to the door knob only, you're controlling your mind into coming up with something else to think. But at the end of the two hours, you'd even appreciate yourself for such a feat -- "still sane after staring at my door knob for two hours yipiii!" :P

Go for a daily run / sprint session -away from meals, assuming you are in good shape. Far more constructive way to invest time and you'll be healthier too. Hey get a job, for that matter. Meet people and laff...if [we] can actually laff at [ourselves] we'll ceratinly be happier. Taking oneself TOO serious can be a problem generator.

Plus the doorknob won't give you no points, neither will you brain which is liable to malfunction on the lack of stimuli.

Haven't you heard abt what happens to you with sensory deprivation ?.

Try putting super glue on the door knob and, like, put it in your mouth for two hours. In about four hours you will definately be going crazy.
