Mailing (made up) proffesional looking letters, posing as a non copyrighted adult or other made up company to prank a buddy (who doesn't know its you or a prank)?

How much trouble?

Mail fraud. If nothing is inside the mail you won't get as much trouble but if you didn't put a return address then that lessens your chances of getting in trouble. If you e-mailed a bomb then you would get in a lot of trouble so let's be thankful you just made a prank.

Hmm, mail fraud. Let me think about that one for a moment. Umm, yeah. You could probably get in trouble if your friend doesn't have a sense of humor.
