I believe that such beings do exist, for me the question lies in "where?".
Specifically, this plane, or another plane of existence?
I live in the Canadian North, out in the middle of "no where" as
most folks would put it, and I'll say this...
reports that we would have found one, are nonsense.
There are whole sections of wilderness up here that no
human has walked on in 10 generations or more... seriously.
Take the Spirit Bear as an example... they were thought to
be only legend (by most non-Natives anyway) for a heck of
a long time before their existence was confirmed...
and they're not thought to be that close to people in their
intelligence.
But as I said, even so, I'm not certain they exist on this plane.
As for whether we manifested them... hmmm...
Though I believe someone mentioned that we manifest all existence...
yes, "we" in the sense of The One do, and if "we"
in the sense of individuals can tap into that, then we can use
the connection for manifestation, and yes, on a small scale we
do that all the time (and on a more moderate scale folks do it
with Magick)... BUT that doesn't really answer where you were
comming from on the question I don't think.
I'd have to say that my bones ache at me and tell me "no".
They were here before us.

We manifest everything. You simply phrasing the question that way gives a very good feeling. Humans are in the animal kingdom. I define it this way. Humans are organisms who use logic to live their lives with as an initial principle. Animals are organisms who use emotion as their initial acting principle in life. AI is technology that uses logic. You'll notice how calm and wild eyed animals look when they're out and about. They have ego's like we do. It's just a simple fact of how aware they are. Human subconsciouses are very powerful things, capable of manifesting almost supernatural affects over our lives due to our possession of perspective. Coloured glasses if you will, putting our own spin on reality to how we've been trained to think. Other animals do not possess this trait. All in all, I believe we manifest our realities in totality more or less than what nature gives us to start with. Ghosts, big foot, stereotypes, traditions, these are all things manifested to name a few. The feelings we get like lust, and the want to create a family, to have a baby, to go to sleep, these are all innate genetic things that we have no control over. Somewhere in the middle of these two, lies human existance.

I believe Bigfoot once existed but I find it hard to believe he still does. I think with any folklore or legend it started from, some truth based, but some of the legends and folklore's have just been ex paned upon over time.
