There's an order to doing problems like that...first exponentials then multiplication/division then addition/subtraction.
For that one, you first need to do the multiplication throughout so it becomes...
2 + 4 + 7 + 2 â
+ 12
Then you go through the addition and subtraction and you will come up with 27 â
or 27.667.
