Immensly. I paid to see a movie, even with the bloated prices and they DARE show me commercials! I can watch TV at home if I wanted commercials. Once the lights dim, it should only be the reminders for people not to talk, turn off cell phones, previews and the movie, thats it... no more freaking cola commercials, army commercials and the like.

Only the one that advertises a country station and has an obese, naked from the waist up man, dancing fast enough so his belly is flopping around up and down to some silly country song. I think he also has the stations channel painted on his gut. It is just wrong on so many levels when I am trying to enjoy my hot buttery popcorn!

P.S. he looks sweaty!

No, because they are generally entertaining. I especially like the theaters now that show video before the main event. Short interviews, movie clips, stuff like Entertainment Tonight.

They just serve to give people more time to arrive before the show starts - because we all know that humans tend to be late for things.

Only if its for a movie that I don't care about. But sometimes I see movies that look interesting there. Although, I will only have to sit through those same things again later on tv.

Of course they do!!! Unless I'm running late--in which case I'm really glad the movie doesn't actually start at the advertised time.

Not if they're trailers to future movies. Teasers and trailers inform you of up and coming movies or pump you up for that film you've been looking forward to all year. Real fun.
If it's those stupid handphone, coca-cola or army recruitment ads, I usually throw my popcorn at the screen and scream in frustration.

The advertisements...a little bit, but I do enjoy watching the previews of other movies.
