Top Gun becuase it was an in-your-face movie; it had an awesome soundtrack and it was about war. One of the best guy flicks ever. Although in a super close second is Back to the Future because it's really funny and I love the guitar scene.

The Watcher in the Woods (1980-1981). They didn't use any computerized special effects like they do today which tend to look really fake to me. Some of the scenes in this movie looked very real and creepy! I just loved everything about this movie, the story, the scenery.... I have it memorised now lol
I also loved the Goonies! Now that's a TRUE 80s move. The fashion, the music etc.

"Some Kind of Wonderful", i think was the most popular teen romantic movie released in the 80's era, about a tomboy and a toyboy who fell in love in the end; the music and the dresses featured in the movie brings back the spirit of the 80's.

I would have to say The Karate Kid because I was motivated with the plot. Daniel was taught by Mr Miyagi and he had ways to teach him karate. After of all the hard training, he stood up to face Johnny, the top fighter from the Kobra Kai, and how he defeated him, which I stood up and cheer. The movie showed me to face my fear and don't let it get the best of me. I have no idea how many times I seen it, but I get pretty motivated with the climatic scene to show that I must stand up and to overcome my weakness and disadvantages.

Mickey! It was so upbeat and easy to dance to. You couldn't ever hear it play in a club and not want to get out there and dance.
