a good deal on rental cars for boston 8/10-8/13...but i'm 22 and can't figure out how to waive the fee..HELP..... they are gonna charge me like 35 extra a day, just for being 22....and im a poor college student as it is!

i will be house hunting and need a car to get around the areas that i am looking at housing. since i will be looking at night and at random times during the day at various places i would like to rent a car....

any ideas for a good deal on rental cars for boston 8/10-8/13...but i'm 22 and can't figure out how to waive the fee..HELP..... they are gonna charge me like 35 extra a day, just for being 22....and im a poor college student as it is!

Public transportation really is the best overall. The "T" has pretty good coverage on places you might look to live and as long as you line up your stops, it should work out pretty good.

And if you need to get to a few places and don't want to walk some, for the cost of renting a car, you can probably take a cab to several places that you might need to go!

Where in the Boston area are you thinking of living? Maybe that'd be a good question to ask. Though much'll depend on your lifestyle and tolerance for things. :-) Either way, Boston's a great city. Easy to navigate (if you're not driving or trying to find a parking space), pretty open, small enough to walk, and very historic.

I don't think there is anywhere that will waive the fee. However, there is a Dollar Rental, which is the chepest fares, and then they charge additional $25.00 per day. Unfortunately most of the places not only in Boston but around the country anywhere charge this fee, and it's pretty unavoidable. See if someone over 25 can help you out and rent the car for you, and drive with you.

well save your money ant just take public transpo.
its pretty good there
u can even take a day trip to ny from china town in boston
theres transportation to everywhere in boston and even to the outer cities
just check the the city's website
plus u can have a beer or two at cheers and not worry bout driving in a different city
