I heard that they were remaking Batman the one with the Joker played by jack nicholson..Heath ledger was supposed to star as the joker..If this really happened. Would you watch it..personally i think it would be so stupid if they remade an original..Every batman movie they have made there always a new villan character.. I would be severely dissapointed if they decided to remake it..any thoughts on this?

U cannot top Jack Nicholson as the Joker,
that's impossible... There is no remake needed.
I like the first "old" Batman-movies by Tim Burton
and Joel Schumacher... Better they show THEM on the
big screen than making a remake of the old stories.
If they invent new characters and bad boys like "Two-Face"
it would be O.K. with me. But no new "Batman"
like "Batman Begins" — I've never seen such a b***-sh**t....

i think it's going to be good...It's going to be out in 2008

The Dark Knight!

Batman, Lt.Jim Gordon and D.A. Harvey Dent team up in an effort to stop the villainous Joker, a theatrical serial killer who lives for the sole purpose of causing harm to the citizens of Gotham, as well as The Dark knight. At the same time, Batman begins to uncover more of the corruption that is plaguing Gotham City, with the arrival of crime boss Salvatore Maroni.

Christian Bale .... Bruce Wayne/Batman

Heath Ledger .... The Joker (rumored)

Gary Oldman .... Lt. James Gordon

Michael Caine .... Alfred Pennyworth

Morgan Freeman .... Lucius Fox

Batman Begins was the best batman movie till now..I liked it better than the older ones coz of better special effects and sound. The dark knight is also going to be a good one coz it would use even better effects and more deapth into the story line..the older batman flicks only touched the external part of the story after batman begins u could feel into the dark side of batman, his fears, his dreams, his ambitions....

THE DARK KNIGHT is going to be an amaaazing movie!!

It's not a remake--it's a sequel to Batman Begins, and it's being called The Dark Knight. It won't have the same plot, themes, characters, etc, as the 1989 Batman, except the obvious. If you liked Batman Begins, you'll probably want to see it.

They are making another movie, but it isn't exactly a remake. They have "reinvented" the series. Dark Knight should, like Batman Begins, be a darker, grittier Batman than the earlier movies.

its got Penguin and Joker, following the newer Batman story line.

If you look at Batman and Batman Begins there is a lot of differnces in story line (even though they are not the same movie)

Begins brought a new look to the story line.

So in my personal oppinon, I would love to see a new Joker and Penguin story. With the greatness of Begins, i cant wait to see what they do.

Nope heath Ledger is no joker .. he can't pull it off ,, they should have had Robin Williams or Jim Carry play the Joker..
i would watch it .. but i don't think it would be any good

I heard that too and i would not see it. So many movies are being remade and that isn't the necessary. If the original is already good then it's pointless to do it again.

I love the old Batman. They should leave him alone. They keep making lousy remakes.
