There could be any number of reasons for the random twitching. First of all, do you twitch a lot, is it every day, or just once in a while and then it goes away?

If it's a once in while twitch, it could just be the nerves.
If it's more than once or twice in a month, then it's something you need your dr. to check into. There are many conditions that can cause the whole body twitching.

it could be a sign that you need more sleep.
the lower part of my eye twitched and parts of my leg too but now that i get about eight to nine hours of sleep, i haven't been bothered by any kind of twitching for months now. sweet dreams :)
