Most OO languages are just the same thing with different syntax. Some are easier to learn than others because they follow a more logical structure. But what is logical to me, may not be to someone else.

It would make it easier for companies to hire people, and easier for managers to assign people. In short, it would save money for businesses.

The problem is, it doesn't work. Each new language that comes along is supposed to be "The ONE": Java, C++, C, Pascal, Algol, etcetera, etcetera. But then there is an advance in technology that cures some of the problems with the current favorite language, making the job of programming easier. Then people start using the New Language, but there are all these programs already written that someone needs to use and maintain ...

And we haven't even mentioned other domains, like those for XML/SGML, and UML ... LOL

There can not be the single language that can handle everything problems.

If/then, endif, end, do, do while, call or get ( blah,blah, blah..). May be hard to push & pop with assembler though for different domains.
