Because they have an idealized dream of what they think marriage is going to be like. All men think they are going to have sex as much and as often as they want. Women always think he is going to be just as sweet, and romantic and as wonderful as when they were dating.

The real truth is that they have no idea just what they are getting themselves into. The sad part is by the time most of them figure it out, they will be in debt up to their eyeballs, have a mortgage, and 2 or 3 children. And both of them will feel trapped, angry, and resentful.

Ignorance really is bliss, because do you think that if they knew all of this ahead of time...
they would ever get married?

Isnt that a tough one to answer? Only a few years ago people married for love, most of the time, now people marry for certain securities. Money, a set career, status, etc. Love is hard to find because the world is so negative. Men marry I think because they find what they have been loking for. Women marry because they have found something they were looking for as well but I think today, more women are marrying out of saving and reassuring their future. Men do it too, dont get me wrong there are more women than men that marry out of love, but thats not saying much since not too many couples are getting married. Today its common to get married at a young age, I dont think people know what love truely is. I dont either. Love grows, evolves, changes from one thing to another. One minute a monthly or weekly romantic getaway is going on, the next minute a yearly getaway. Love grows and changes. People dont need to show how much one person loves another all the time as we get older anbd love matures. Some of us, like myself work all we can to keep love alive. Keeping love alive is the most important thing. Lets all try to get the divorce rate down.

Nobody knows, but we do know that it's evry real. And it makes you feel all warma nd tingly inside.
