Are the sleeping problems from real life problems you may be having? If nothing negative is going on in your life, they should go away on their own. If you can't sleep, try something like Tylenol PM. If the nightmares are being precipitated by something, you shuld talk to a doctor if they persist. Good luck!

Well i normally get myself a nice cold cup of skim milk.. whatch some entertaining cartoons... (like family guy or futurama)... I also sleep with all doors closed no lights (like those little lights on motion detectors or fire alarm things... and i sleep with a fan on because one... if it is cold then i have to worry about trying to keep myself warm, 2 i think the sound if the fan is very relaxing.

Meditation with eyes closed & without moving (take deep slow breaths while imagining yourself at your favorite location, draining the stress out of your body as you slowly exhale)
Read literature (your fav. magazine/book)
Write in a diary for a long time
Take a hot steamy bubble bath
And most importantly, stay relaxed and don't panic about how late it is.

Watch a humorous movie before bed; I like Jim Carrey movies, then think about funny, happy things while trying to fall asleep. Works for me.

okay, in the morning keep telling yourself
"I wont have a nightmare"
and then when you go to bed again, tell yourself that you wont have one... and while you are laying in bed concentrate on something you love
and that just may help =)
good luck
