ive been havin yoga lessons for a long time but thts not enough for me, so i started to goto gym but i dun want to waste money on those personal trainer,n im wonderin wht should i do in gym to have toned arms but not muscular arm, n also to be taller, thanks =o) im 14 yrs old

Firstly
Many models are underfed and that is not healthy.
Secondly
Yoga will do little for you as it does not get up your heart rate... it's good for relaxation and becoming more supple, but that's about it.
Thirdly
There is nothing wrong with having a bit of muscle in your arms.... Weight bearing exercise is very important for women in particular as it increases bone strength, and many women suffer with brittle bones as they age... You might laugh and say, 'yeah but that's years away' but believe me time has a way of dashing past before you know it.
Fourthly
Females do not muscle up like men because of a lack of testosterone.

I would suggest you do some weight bearing exercise and some cardio exercise on a regular basis, and you don't really need to join a gym although gyms are good. You can walk, run, play and buy a couple of dumb bells to lift.

As to being taller, you can only really become as tall as your genes decide. But I'm only 5ft 1in and very happy with that height.

Start with some lightweight hand weights usually 3lbs. Do repetitions 3 sets of ten to fifteen to start out with, if you feel like that's not heavy enough don't go heavier just do anther set until you build a little strength.Then move to 5lbs. Find a teen magazine at the library and photo copy a few exercises you see that promote the look you are after. Try to get someone to spot you it helps to do them correctly. You can't do anything to make yourself taller. But for toned arms try lifting light weights (like 3-5 lbs). If you don't want your arms to be muscular, don't continue lifting once you notice a difference.

As long as your not overweight your arms should be slim but just in case you can go to the gym and make sure their toned by lifting weights and to keep them slim and toned at the same time spread your amrs out to the sides and do small circles with your wrists so they will be slim.

To get big muscles you lift the heaviest weight you can a few times
to get toned you should lift light weights but lift them as much as you possibly can keep going and going until your arms are tired.

BIG weights = big muscles
small weights lifted many times = tone muscles or stronge muscles

That is why some small guys are stronger than the big hulky guys. The small lean guys are stronger the big guys have bigger muscles but their is no as much strength in them

The trainers are really worth the money. They have nutrition experts to tell you want to eat too.

You're only 14! Don't worry about being as skinny as them, half of them are sick to begin with. If you want to tone up your arms, try lifting weights 3 times per week, and try to cut fat out of your diet. As far as being taller goes, you still have plenty of time to grow! You have a good 4 more years ahead of you before you're done growing.

You can starve yourself like the models do and have skinny arms and no one cares about things like that. I never heard anyone say look at her arms, they are so skinny and nice, I just love her thin arms........ Just be you, you are 14 and it doesn't seem like midels have a great life to me, they don't look happy, they look hungry, so if you are not planning on being a model then why try to look like them, just aim for something you actually have to go and study for, like a college degree, where you can travel to different countries because you can afford to and actually get to try the different foods around the world, not just look at them because all you can eat is lettuce and drink bottled water....... Just live your life that god blessed you with. Why be born in America if you are going to starve yourself anyway???

Lifts weights and trust me that wont make them muscular. I've been doing it for years and my arms are awesome.

I think the only way to be model thin is to either be on illegal drugs or retch after every bite!
