Lemon juice can be a bit harsh on the face and people who are using it shouldn't tan because it causes the skin to be sensitive to sunlight therefore making the spot that lemon juice was applied to darker.

Anything that dries your skin out works on pimples, lemon juice probably would do that because it is so acidic.

How to never have pimples again:

1. Wash your face twice daily with Clinique face soap.
2. Use Neutrogena Clear Pore cleanser/mask as a mask once a day.
3. Reduce the regularity of steps 1 & 2 if the acne has gone away and your skin is overly dry.

People always want acne to go away after they have it, but the real solution is to keep your face dry with a regular routine of cleaning like I proposed above. This routine can be accelerated if you start to break out (e.g. wash your face 3 times a day) or deccelerated if your skin gets too dry, but the important thing is to stick to the routine, which prevents acne from ever forming.

truthfully, it doesn't help the skin but it helps fighting pimples. a while ago when i was breaking out, my mom's friend recommended me making a toner out of lemon and soju( a Korean alcohol). the toner i made was with 4 lemons and half a bottle of soju. squeeze the lemons in the soju and mix and let it sit in the refrigerator for a week in order for it to mix. i used it a week later and my pores seemed smaller and my pimples cooled down BUT my skin got really dry and wrinkly and tight even though i use moisturizer. the bad thing about lemons is that it has alot of toxins so its discouraged to use directly on the face because it is THAT toxic. but I'm not sure about the ones sold in the drugstore, but if you want to try out the toner check it out. good luck!

Toothpaste eventually harms your face. Do it seldom. And lemon juice? Never heard of it.

why don't you just go to the shop, buy some cleanser, clean your face properly and use spot cream. do you know how much you will stink with lemon juice on your face, what a yucky idea.

i am not sure about that.....but any store purcahsed substance that has "ox or oxy" in the ingredients work. Cheap as it is Peroxide is good. These all contain oxygen based substances that open up pimples to let oxygen in, which in turn heals.......
My daughter says toothpaste works
