She claims to have loved him dearly and that this mean old war and that mean old Bush killed her beloved baby. But, when she divorced Casey's father, she let him have custody. In the divorce she's going through now, she letting THIS husband have custody of their son. Futhermore, it is my understanding that she has not even bothered to put a marker or headstone on Casey's grave. Is she talking out of both sides of her mouth?

OMG, I just said in another question how wrong it is to get your info from email....

She is a mother. Her son died serving this country.
Believe it or not IT IS possible to support the troops, but not the war!

On 25 May 2006, a headstone was finally placed at Casey's grave, one described thusly by the Vacaville Reporter:
The elegant marble slab is thick and emblazoned with a cross and delicate thickets of trees on both sides.

"Our Casey," reads an inscription on the front. "Ever faithful, kind, and gentle, good son, beloved brother, brave soldier, dear friend, you loved your family and lived your life serving others to the end." Six icons grace the other side, representing a military insignia, the theater, Eagle Scouts, Van Halen, the World Wrestling Federation and Superman.
That same publication also contacted Cindy Sheehan via e-mail for her comments on the placement of the headstone:
Sheehan said she had paid for the tombstone herself and was part of a family effort to put it up, even though its installation saddened her.

"It is important for the rest of Casey's family to have one," she wrote. "I guess the pain of seeing it etched in marble that he is dead is another pain I will have to deal with."

The headstone was very expensive, Sheehan wrote. She said that the government should have paid for it because of its responsibility for his death.

Your claim is an urban myth.

"Cindy Sheehan and her husband, Patrick, were high school sweethearts who wed while both were in their early 20's and who have been married to each other for over 28 years. (Neither has ever been married to anyone else.) The couple had four children together, of whom Casey was the oldest. Both parents raised Casey together, first in the southern California community of Norwalk and later in the northern California town of Vacaville, where the Sheehans moved when Casey was 14."

Cindy Sheehan is a pathetic psycho case. Even in ones grieving process (and my wife is a grief and loss counselor) her behavior is unexplainable. Her son must have turned in his grave so many times from her disrepect toward the military and the Commander in Chief that he has worn out his dress uniform.

Cindy is into this vendetta for Cindy only. Not her son or anyone else. The sadest part of all is, she has been used by the press and tossed aside and doesn't even realize it.

i think of of this could have some thing to do with the embezzlement that strengthen into occurring in the start place she strengthen into heading. rather i think of of it fairly is definitely a cop out on her area by way of ability of fact. a million) she now not garners plenty be unsleeping for her charade of being a loving mom. 2) each and every man or woman is beginning to look at her books and are awareness that her human beings have been bilking human beings out of a brilliant sort of money. To be brutally honest if I never see her on television, in the papers or on the concepts returned i will nicely be a happy guy.

Cindy Sheehan Is wost than a hypocrite. She used the death of her son for her own purposes.Men and women join the military knowing full well what they are in for.It a decision that they make for what ever reason. She should have honored her son.If she doesn't believe in the war that's her right. To go around the county bad mouthing the president in her sons name is sick.

She bought property in TX next to Bush's ranch to protest. Guess where she got the money? From his G.I. life insurance. I am surprised that there is any left after she moved out to Berkley!

I think she has just lost her mind. As far as the divorce goes, there may have been circumstances where she couldn't keep Casey, but that doesn't mean she loved him any less.

She bought a new car before she bought a grave stone for her son.
Enough said.

Yes, it's shameful.

This woman obviously has mental problems, and yet people flock to her like the sheep they are.
