I want to get high speed internet without having a phone line. Is this possible ? I've heard both yes and no ,

There are several ways to do this without a phone line. One is through satellite. One is through cable, and another is by having a wireless card that works like a cell phone.

Yes it is possible i have high speed internet with out phone lines. It is called a cable modem it is a box that hooks up to the same thing your tv cable hooks up too it is fast and you dont have to dial a number everytime you connect.

i have a DSL hookup which is just as fast as my cable broadband was, and i have it provided by my phone company and dont need a land line phone- i use my cell phone. mind you, it all depends on the area you live in.
