Don't get me wrong, there are songs from before then and deffinitely now that I really love, but the music from the mid 90s to late 90s is just my favorite! Songs like Closing Time, One Headlight, The Way, I'll Be, Truly Madly Deeply, Brick, Hanging By a Moment. I'm not sure those are all in the 90s or a little afterwards, but they all have that sound that I can't explain.

I liked the pop music when I was about 11, but by the 90's I mean songs that sound like One Headlight by The Wallflowers. The almost no drums and just different sounds in the song. It's just too hard to explain.

It's good, but late 80's music started all those pop music sound. You're probably too young to remember those music.

The 90's had it's moments. Nirvana came onto the scene with all of it's grunge fans and ushered out hairbands. Nine Inch Nails brought Industrial rock to the mainstream (along with one Marilyn Manson). Brittney Spears (and all the rest of the vixens-Christina, Jessica, Mandy, etc. etc.) brought bubble-gum pop with a sexy new look fo rthe world to see.Boy bands such as N'sync, Backstreet Boys and 98 degrees, although I thought they sucked beyond repair, still ushered in a new sound. Early 90's saw rappers turn into cultural icons and Hip-Hop exploded throughout the whole decade...Definately a case for saying the 90's were a ground-breaking decade for music.

Hanging by a moment is an awesome song!! Yes I love the 90's too. It seems that there was so much originality in that decade. And that everything now (well almost everything) is just trying to re-create what happened in the 90's. Rock on!!

I wouldn't say its the best, but its definitely better than 80's music! Although, I did grow up on all those late 90's songs and they have so many memories. Okay, 90's music is good.

Yeah but not ur 90's music .. Nirvana, StoneTemple Pilots, Alice In Chains , Janes Addiciton, Filter, Soundgarden. All the great bands in the 90's were rock bands...This stuff now is jus stuff that repeats it self and is whinny and sad stuff...
