I was thinking about becoming an exotic dancer, and all of my friends think that i look better with glasses, however, i am not sure that i could wear them on the job.

Yes. But not with every dance. One girl used to wear them with her schoolgirl outfit, but not with her others. It's usually a costume thing, not a wear with every outfit thing. Most wear contacs. Although, there was one who always wore her glasses, and she did pretty good. Those glasses were kind of part of her.
P.S. I'm not condoning stripping (let's call it what it is, huh?) by answering, but...stuff happens and sometimes the money is needed.
Stripping definitely isn't a longterm solution here. It's dangerous. Guys just don't follow all the rules. True, there will be those guys who just pay you to talk, but there will always be those guys who come in with sports pants with nothing underneath and ask for a lap dance. EEEEEWWWWWW! I don't consider it degrading since you are making the choice, however, your body is your temple, and to let so many people see it...I have to say, when you look back on it later, you'll get a little chill run through your back. And forever after, when you go places, you'll wonder if there's anyone there who 'saw' you. And don't think they won't recognize you, either. Some will, and they usually have no qualms about approaching you in public and saying hey. Cuz they think it's cool. Please think twice, it's not as cool as it sounds, and it's a dangerous job that often leaves you feeling dirty at the end of the night, despite the money.

I have seen it a few times before
I think if you wanted to do that
come out in the skirt suit get up with some cleavage showing and your hair up
and some sexy shoes on
and take it off from there
just keep the glasses on
that seems so sexy doesnt it
More appealing than the usual stuff
thats getting old
change it up a lil bit and who knows you might just find yourself some lifelong clients

Oh yeah! I've had friends who've danced & wore Rx glasses. I used to dance & bought some clear lensed glasses just for work. (I don't wear glasses regularly)
If you become a dancer, you are an independant contractor.

Yes, they do. What you wear on the job will be based partly on how good you are at presenting yourself, and almost always on what your customers like. It's like theatre. You develop your act to wow the crowd. Convince the paying customers, and you should be able to convince your stage manager too.

Glasses aren't sexy. Come on, don't stoop so low as to being THAT kind of a dancer. And if you do, lose the glasses!
