To jump implies that you can heft your weight so you are not being supported by earth or water. Whales can "breach" or jump out of the water.

yes whales are also a mammal but it can jump in water as it comes out to take breathe. there are a many variety of whales out of which killer whales and doulphins are great jumpers. but blue whales are the only one who can not jump properly.

I think other better examples exist than the whale...hippopotamus, rhinoceros, giraffe...other large mammals from Africa.
There's a movie..."White Men Can't Jump." Does that count???

whales and such are in the water, water does not give that much gravity to sink you down. Whales can jump, exept that they are too heavy on ground.
