having once thumbed thru a comic a long time ago i can say with much confidence that hollywood cares crap about staying true to a comic,, im surprised that a man was cast to play the part,, with such liberties that are allowed to be taken by the producers and screen writers these days,,example,, kingpin black from a comic book white guy in a fez,, superman with a son,, juggernaut a mutant not magically endowed by ruby gem of Cytorrak... but id rather see nic cage play johnny blaze then superman any day

Good question. While Cage is a big comic book fan himself, and even has a Ghost Rider tatoo (no lie), I don't think he is the best choice for the role, but that is only because I am comparing him to what Johnny Blaze looked like in the comic books. It is possible he will pull it off, however, as I have heard a lot of positive buzz regarding the movie trailer itslef. Time will tell!

I think its dumb for the director or the producer for choosing Cage to do the role of Ghost Rider. He doesnt really fit. And in truth, its not going to be easy to have a sequal. I mean they chose a famous actor to do the part. I wished they just chose someone who isnt too cocky if you know what I mean.

Ben Affleck was Daredevil and see what happened? nothing right? no sequal whatsoever.

But look at Toby Mcguire. Spider-man already has a sequal and still doing another one. Toby was an unknown actor before doing Spider-man, now, everyone sees him as the only Spider-man. Every movie he will make in the future, the title Spider-man will always stick with him.

I hope this new Superman will do too.

I loved Ghost Rider as a kid and Johnny Blaze had long blonde hair and was kinda buff y'know... so while I hope Cage did a good job of portraying Ghost Rider, I think that maybe Brad Pitt shoulda got the job...IMO

It makes an interesting choice. I have no foreknowledge of the comic book character so I can't tell you if Nic fits the role the right way. But, I've seen a few previews of the movie, and it looks interesting. Might be good, worth seeing. We'll have to see.

Well, he's a better Ghost Rider than a Superman, but still, I don't see him fitting the part too well.

hes pretty versitile as an actor. i think he can do about anything. im sure he'll pull it off.

plus he's a huge comic fan. he took his stage name from Luke Cage, another comic book figure. So I'm sure he had a fun time getting into the role and enjoyed doing it. I think he'll be great

what the hell is the ghost rider... sounds sweet. but in my opinion, cage is great but limited to a certain type of roll. He's not like depp who can morph into anything he wants to be. So i dunno, if its a comic book roll, he prolly wont fit the roll right
