You may have pulled a wire off somewhere or not put a wire back on properly.
Not knowing the extent of disassembly and what type of window unit that you have I cannot be very specific.
Did you need to take the outer case off the unit or did it slide out of the casing? Did you open the control panel and pull wires off of the components? Etc. etc....

hello ,,,, i have time to answer one more question on here tonight, so i help this helps,,, for the guy with the thermocouple idea,,,,, it does not have one,,,lol,,,, actually your problem is the fan is running but the compressor is not comeing on,, thats the black pot shaped thing inside the unit,,, more than likely you have knocked a wire loose on the compressor , or the control board ,,,take it back apart and pop the cap where the wire goes into the compressor and see if one came off ,,if so put it back on, and check the control board closely,,, be sure it is unplugged ,,,,,,i feel sure you can do it,,,,,,hope i helped a little,.

1. call an A/C technician to have the tubings for checked damage. you might have lost the freon in your system.
2. though remote, the possibility of having some wires loose or unattached.

Oh no, sweet cheeks. I think you either got a hole in the system somewhere or you damaged the thermocouple. probably calling someone to check that is best hope.
