I take Nyquil to help me sleep to. But I have found something better to help me sleep. I started takeing pamperin. It makes me sleepy enough that I can fall asleep.And it doesn;t make me drowsy in the morning like nyquil will sometimes.

well nyquil isnt a sleeping medicine, its a cold medicine. It's not a good idea taking a medicine solely for it's side effects. I would say it is harmful (especially to your liver). Try a specific sleep medication.

sounds like you're developing an addiction to NyQuil. it DOES contain alcohol
try reducing the amout of caffeine in your diet and get some St. John's Wort or some kava kava instead.

yes. Nyquil is very addictive. And the more you take it the more you will need it. Eventually you will find yourself taking it every night.

Yes, it is very harmful because you get addicted to it. Try consulting your doctor and ask him to prescribe some sleeping medicine.

Its roughly the equivalent of taking a stiff beer to sleep.
Not a good idea to depend on it. Alcoholism is not a joke.

It won't harm you physically, but the stuff in it can make your sleep less deep and less refreshing, giving you trouble during the day, stressing you out and causing sleep deprivation. blah, blah, blah...vicious cycle is born.

Yes it contains alcohol, Tylenol, and a cough suppressant. You can get unasom all it basically is benadrill. no more than 50mg i would start out at 25mg to see how you do.
