I am a black lesbian and I usually tend to date only black women because where I stay is mostly black, but I am open to dating someone of another ethnicity as long as she's cute,fem, and has a nice personality. I noticed that lot of people,esp. in the GLBT community only date their ethnicity or only specific ethnicities.I also noticed that a lot in the GLBT who are non-blacks don't want to date blacks. So, whether black,white,hispanic,asian, etc, would you date outside your race?

I think the hang up we have on only dating certain people of certain races may cause us to miss out on what may be true love. This goes for people of all orientations.

I look at who the person is before anything else, so I'm open to it if the right person comes along. I've never blocked anyone off because of their race. But if they say something about my race (being white) then that means it's an issue for them and I don't want that issue in any of my relationships.

i think it's ok.i'm fem and I really don't know what the big idea is about interracial dating. These days it's ok and Most black lesbian women are very hott. I've dated other women outside my race and it's been great. Most of the time, your only talking about what the whole race has in common, with other races you learn different and new things... I'm for interracial dating, there is no better way to find someone so different but exactly the same as you. if you know what i mean

I am a black stud, and I usually only dated black femmes. Because thats what I was comfortable with. But I am dating an Asian woman right now and she is amazing. She love the fact that I am a stud and doesnt want me to change. Most femmes only want femmes and thats black, white, hispanic or anyother race. So she is a rare and wonderful woman. I am totally open to dating other races. But i'm biased towards Asian right now :-)

Unfortunately there is a lot of racism and discrimination in the Gay community. I have experienced it myself being a Hispanic bi male. It's crap like that that is holding our community back. I personally have dated Hispanics, whites, and Asians. I haven't dated a black person yet but would have no problem to date one.

You don't see it alot that is for certain, and when I do see it, it usually with the men, I've never seen an interracial female couple. And just like you, I would be open to it myself if I were single.

I am a soft butch as well. Yes, I have dated outside of my color before. I don't really think it is an issue. Are you really looking at her color when you are munching on her?
