My bet is on Florida state, and I say this as a Va Tech fan

A number of teams have a chance this year... It isn't like last year where USC was the clear pick for the NC and texas was right behind them...
Ohio State, Notre Dame, West Virginia (yes, they have an easy schedule and are preranked #7 in the coaches poll).. Texas (but they have to play Ohio State and of course...) Oklahoma... and then there is the wonderful SEC... auburn, florida, georgia, LSU... whoever wins the SEC (if they go undefeated or have 1 loss) could win it all.... as is the case in the ACC (but no one has stepped up yet.. clemson could be a surprise team... FSU of course always gets great athletes.. and VT... whom i hate.. sorry dude, WVU fan here LOL.. VT could do it, but they have to get by their tough acc schedule, and of course... the cincinnati bearcats... hahah..

I have to say Texas as well, because most of their key players are coming back, including the amazing Vince Young. Most of their team last year consisted of Juniors that are now stronger, faster, and more agile than they were when they were amazing last year.
Florida State is probably my favorite NCAA team, in almost every sport, but I don't see them as a big threat when you look at the dominating Texas team.

Virginia Tech will not finish the season ranked in the top 20. Notre Dame will not finish the season ranked in the top 15. Ohio St and WVU battle for the national championship. WVU wins their first national title this season.

The Florida Gators will win because they've been challenged by the basketball team to prove that they can be just as good. Like Joakim said, "The Gator Boyz are HOT!!!"

Oklahoma Sooners! They'll need to get their QB situation settled but they can do it.
Texas can't win. Not with Vince Young gone. OU-Texas weekend in Dallas, I guarantee that Oklahoma will win.

Arkansas is gonna have heck of team this year, but Texas ain't gonna be notin' without Vince. They will suck this year. Never been a Texas fan never will. I think Arkansas my be able to pull it off. I mean look at their new team, its gonna be awsome! Now I can shove it in my friends faces that Texas really does suck!
