I think it is unfair to use a tragic event as a way to make money. Making a movie about the day we all saw fear is not right. It is disrespectful to the victims, families, and even us, The United States. It is not right to make movies like these..when will we learn.

I seen united 93 and I am going to see world trade center when it comes out. Everyone has there own opion about these movies but nobody it telling you to go see them. It's ok to make movies about war but it's not ok to make movies on 9/11. Yes everyone knows what happen on that day and we will never forget but it's time that we see thought the victms eyes what really happen or what may have happen on that day. Nobody is making money off these movies they just putting out the facts and making sure no ones forgets. All the money made from united 93 went to a memorial fund and all the money made for the second one will go to a memorial fund as well. It's been almost 5 years and we still have not caught the person who did this. If they can make movies about war then would not make movies about 9/11.

I think they should make 9/11 movies. The US Government should comission 9/11 films and take our best filmmakers and make a compendium of the events that happend, an artisitic and cultural renaissance.

From the very few really great interviews of survivors and the lack of violence on TV over the actions by Muslim Extremists, I think there is a large gap where movies can really do the subject matter justice.

Ok....I'm going to answer your question, and ignore the additional info that exposes you as a conspiracy nut.

I think it's deplorable that these movies would be coming out at all, but especially just within 5 years of the tragic events of that day. Think about this: for them to have aired when they did, they would've had to be in production up to 2 years earlier. Who thinks of cashing in on our national grief that soon?

I could live with the Pearl Harbor movie (even though they basically ripped off "Titanic") and Saving Private Ryan was phenomenal, but that was 2 generations removed, and they were a different breed of American to boot. It's just sick to try to dramatize events so recent.

For me, filming these movies is not rite also. I mean producers are just merely cashing in from these movies...For me it is enough for the people involved in the incident to have a proper acknowledgement and proper respect....
