Apparently, more than 50 percent of people have a 2nd toe thats' longer than the Big toe. So it would be considered "normal". My 2nd toe is shorter, making me "abnormal" I guess. It'll be interesting to compare the results of this question, and see if the statement is true.

Oh no, it is definitely NOT that common.

It's called a "Morton's Toe" I know this because I have it. My second toe is a teeny bit longer than the first one. It's never caused me any trouble other than looking a little weird, it makes my toes look long like fingers. Actually most men have said I had beautiful feet.

In my nursing class, only three of us had this (out of a class of 34) and in my family I got it from my dad (my mom doesn't have it neither does my brother), my husband does not, two of our kids do not, one does. So I don't think it's as common as 50% of folks, but not uncommon either.

Hmmm, neither of my 2nd toes are longer...although one is the almost the same length as my big toe, and the other is slightly shorter. Not really noticable, but I notice every milimeter on my body. Maybe I am the weird one. Oh well, I think the majority of feet are ugly anyways.

I have the same situation. But it's only 10% of the population that has the second toe longer than the first. I thought I was the norm, and look at "normal" feet like they were strange, until I learned this fact.

My second toe is longer.

I've always thought that people who's extremities were "long" in proportion to their bodies had a big toe that was longer than the rest.

Do you have long arms, fingers, legs, etc. in comparison to the rest of your body? This is an interesting topic to me...

My toes go down in size. My big toe is big then the next toe is a tiny bit shorter. My other toes get shorter and shorter to the baby toe. My toes are cute and my feet are pretty. I love sandals and I wear nothing but throughout the summer.

Sorry, but when the 2nd toe is larger than the toe that should be the largest, that is just plain ugly and it is not normal. Your feet are not pretty at all. Sorry, to be so blunt but someone has to say it.

However, if you are brave, you should not stop wearing sandals.
LLLLLLOOOOOLLLLLLL !!!!

in the 16 teen hundreds the second toe longer than the first would get you burnt at the stake for being a witch.

That is so funny! Last night I was looking at my feet, thinking I could have been a "Foot Model."
I have really pretty feet. My second toe does not stick out farther than my big toe! They just gradually get shorter and they are slanted just like a shoe. cool, huh? If you have feet like this, too - just be grateful.
