yes,I agree that this is not the best type of speech to utter on lend your ears to.But in America the speech of some vile individuals and groups are protected. As far as the use of various drug combinations,I recall a favorite comedian and actor died of a combination that didn't deter others from it's use.Anybody remember John Belushi? And as for whether they are all gun shy, that's not the issue, what seems to be the issue is that a lot of poor, young kids feel like this is an education as to what is "real".And, sad to say, they for the most part arn't that much off the mark.

I don't like rap; especially when it contains violent or hateful connotations. One positive thing may be that it draws attention to what is happening on our streets. However, to glorify the use of weapons and violence as being OK, it saddens me that it has gone mainstream as acceptable. I know this does not reflect the work of all rappers, just the type you mentioned in your question.

The idea is to sell albums. They rap about what young, uneducated, gang-wannabes thrive to hear. Do you really think Snoop, notorious big, Jay-z and Eminem hang around on the street with gangs and drive by shootin up stuff? I don't think so. They are to busy enjoying the money they are pulling in from punks that think life is a big street game.

I hate all the rap, it sucks-they are all fake, marketing to little kids. Any adult still listening to it is pretty ghetto. They're more like actors, and it doesn't take any talent at all to talk over music. How do you call yourself a musician when you can't even play an instrument?

It's annoying, yes, but us classic rockers got criticized a lot back in the early '60's, and look what happened with that, some of the best music in human history, as we know it. I tolerate it, but except for a few songs, to me it's just not quality music. Just my opinion.

The only rap I listen to is The Roots, or Jurassic 5, or mostly underground stuff. At least they usually have some talent.

I love it.
Human beings kill each other, get over it.
50 Cent talking about killin ****** is no different than george bush talking about neutralizing terrorist threats.
I see gunshots, cannons, and bombs on the news everyday. Check out the Middle-East.
What is your point?

it is finished for ask your self fee and to charm to youthful little ones who think of it is cool. IMO not all rap is undesirable, some is definitely sturdy. The gunshots and killing raps are so performed out.
