how do i protect autographs on clothing from washing out?

HAND WASH THEM IN COOL WATER AND SALT. THE SALT SETS THE INK. I'VE DONE THIS WITH SOME OF MY AUTOGRAPHED SHIRTS WITH GOOD RESULTS.

either don't wash the clothing, or repeatedly re-autograph the clothing with a permanent marker

do not wash them . preserve them either in a bag , or a frame .

try framing them and putting them on display, but not in direct sulight
