Musical emotion happens. have you ever never felt emotion from any of your in demand songs? And once you're making a track it interior the bathe all feeling what the track says to you do you experience empty sounding or is it extra like somewhat self emotion mixed up interior the way your attempting sing it? You dont would desire to have written a track to experience it once you sing it.

That's really interesting to me...because if the words came from you, then it was something you felt...and it would seem you could emote the feeling behind it. Maybe you are just writing songs, and they are technically good...but they still don't convey what it is you are trying to say. It could be that, or you were meant to work behind the scene and write for others. I know my best work is when I am feeling passionate about it...everything else is just a statement or observation. I hope you work it all out. Good Luck to you.

Forget the music part. Sing the song how you feel the most comfortable or in this case emotionally charged then transpose the music to that key. Tip: Certain type of chords add colour to the melody.

This is something that just takes practice. Keep writing and writing. You'll get better, trust me. I'm amazed at how much better my songs are even after 2 or 3 years. (though i don't write lyrical music)

You're too close to the mechanics of doing the writing. Keep singing, practicing, and pretty soon you'll find that you have the right frame of mind for it.

you must not feel it . Maybe you need to write about something you have an emotional connection to.
