I live in Austin, Texas and I cant seem to find a name for them, they are annoying and fly. They land on you and run, what are they?? And why are they only around in the summer?

you say that they look like a roach but they can fly? Some breeds of roaches fly. Mostly forest dwellers but on occasion they will get into our home in GA.

Possibly June bugs? They are hard bodied demons...LOL they crash into windows when lights are on...usually defensless when they flip on their backs... maybe something else...but these are usually around may,june and july...
