What is your favorite brand of makeup? Is Covergirl good?

M.A.C. It's a little expensive but you can't beat the quality and it lasts forever. THE best eyeshadow antwhere.

M.A.C. makeup hands down. The color pigments are true to life. Whatever color you see in the jar is what you'll see on your skin. Their pressed powder covers very well. You can use a fluffy brush to apply the powder for daytime use. A sponge works well for evening coverage. It's a tad pricey, but worth every penny.

Ulta cosmetics are pretty good too. The colors are also true to life. The lip glosses are great! I love them! They're relatively inexpensive. Ulta always has a sale or coupon. I don't know if there's an Ulta in your area. If not, try www.ulta.com and order from there. You won't be disappointed by the quality.

Personally, CoverGirl is okay. It can cost you just as much as Ulta cosmetics. I wasn't impressed by the quality of the powder. It just didn't work for me. Since I couldn't return used makeup, I used the powder as an eyeshadow base.

Every brand has their highs and lows. My favorite brand of all time is pout -- their stuff is fairly expensive but they have hands down the most amazing blushes (and I'm a blush whore with a collection of about 30 so yeah...sad I know). their eyeshadows are beautiful as well

I find covergirl stuff to be not pigmented enough, and the lasting power isn't all too swell. Pigment is the amount of color. if something it unpigmented, it is comparable to colored powder that won't leave much color on your skin when applied.

CoverGirl is okay, but my favorite is L'Oreal Paris! The true match line is wonderful and you won't have a makeup line. Also check out max factor's lipfinity lip color. It stays on through eating and kissing! LOL!

I think MAC is one of the best make for eyes... but for foundation i use Dream Matte Mouse... its nice and doesnt give you a cake look... believe it or not the Kohl's brand is pretty good as well. I say mix and match and use the best for certain areas... personally for eyes i use mac... for foundation i use maybaline and for mascara i use the Kohls brand.

Personally, I use Cover Girl for eye shadow and blush, since they have a great variety of colors and their price is great. But for base (foundation and powder) I use Maybelline because their oil-free line is wonderful for my skin which gets oily and occasionally gets blemishes. I also use Max Factor's 2000 calorie mascara, you just can't beat it!

I like the name... My husband is from hawaii. but on to your question. I love Cover girl, it is my favorite. They have different types of foundation, so if you have oily skin, then you can buy one with out oil in it, that helps your skin from breaking out with pimples, (you have to check the lable) and they also have Noxema in their foundation, and women have used Noxema for years and years, it is very good for your skin. Cover girls (girls on the covers of magazines) have used Covergirl for years! I hope this helps.

My favorite is Clinique. It is expensive but it is worth it. Believe me!!! Covergirl is okay.
