Depends on how you're going to use it. I like the 60 GB video iPod because I use as a back up for my important files and photographs (several GB's worth) as well as for music. I also keep my calendar on it. My sister, on the other hand, just uses hers for something to listen to while jogging, so she has a Shuffle. My other sister has a Nano because she thinks it's so darn cute. If it's and iPod, it's a good piece of equipment. What's best depends on how you use it.

ipod video has all features .video which none of them have and it has a color screen which the shuffle doesnt have so i would rather get the video
