Well, technically yes, however a pregnant woman should be taking a prenatal vitamin which includes the folic acid, and other essential vitamins as well. They include much-needed iron, since our bodies need more and the baby as well. When a woman is not pregnant, it is still a good idea to be taking folic acid daily in case she becomes pregnant, since it helps prevent spinal deformities.

i never took any. you should eat healthy instead of taking pills. eat bananas drink OJ...
