I've got a friend that is 3 months away from turning 21. (Im 23) Everytime we go out, he "doctors" his id with a dab of white out and makes his ID look like he is 21. (his birthday is 11-13-85, and he puts white out over the first "1" in the "11", and makes it look like 1-13-85). Im worried that if he gets caught doing this at a bar or something, that I can get in trouble since I am with the minor. Could I get in trouble for this? What sort of trouble could he get himself into if he got caught?

Yahoo! Answers is not the best forum to ask a question like this. The reality is that laws vary from state to state, so there may be 50 ways to answer your question. Unless the person responding happens to be an attorney from your state, the answers you get here won't be worth much. While it would seem unlikely that you would get in trouble for your friends actions, you should contact a local attorney for better information.

you may get prescriptions at any age - on a similar time as an infant - yet i'm especially particular that in the time of maximum states a doctor would be required to the two get permission from and/or notify your mum and dad. melancholy isn't something to be ashamed approximately, yet some mum and dad do no longer consistently get it, yet once you think of you have otherwise effective mum and dad, then tell them - they probably experience some thing is incorrect and wish some practise as to what it fairly is and could be extra desirable than keen to assist. you is in simple terms no longer disappointing them. in case you're nonetheless demanding, ask your college nurse - or perhaps call anonymously to ask her - and he or she ought to enable you comprehend what the regulations are the place you reside, or in case you have any possibilities. sturdy success!

He can be kicked out of the bars, but that is the most that they could do to him. As far as you are concerned, you should not be in trouble, unless you are harboring and assisting him in getting in. If the bouncers rely on his ID only, you will not be in trouble either.

Yes you both could have problems with the law if caught. You might face 'contributing to the deliquency of a minor' charge is he at your table, and he could face charges himself.

yes, he could get in trouble. I guess it would be for consuming alcohol as a minor and maybe for identity fraud. I'm not sure if you can get in trouble; but they would know that you know. I would wait the three months.

Your conscience should bother you, because you know that he's not 21. I don't know where you live or what your transportation is, but 20 does not equal 21.

.If you act like you didn't know the person that is with you is under 21....I wouldn't worry about it It's all on him......He would get arrested for doctoring his license......I'm not sure if it's a misdemeanor or a felony
