I love christian/gospel music. Anything that will keep me centered and focused on what's really important in life. Music is nothing more than a message wrapped in harmonies and beats. I use to listen primarily gangsta rap music, but I realized that wasn't who I was. Whatever goes into your body is going to eventually come out. The lyrics that are acceptable in today's music are astonishing and are consequently corrupting the minds of many. I was sitting with an 8 yr old the other day and he was rapping some lyrics from a song "I'm addicted to money, cars and clothes". This brings a tear to my eye and makes me wonder if the youth of this nation will ever have a chance to reach their full potential under this widely accepted and immoral mind set.

I have a very diverse taste in music, it ranges from the Dixie Chicks to Tool. I like enya and Nine Inch Nails. Basically anything and everything I couldn't pinpoint one particular genre that is my favourite.

avril lavigne is my favorite, then greenday, then a bunch of others like, kelly osbourne, AFI, Taylor Hicks, Carrie Underwood, Nickelback, Good charlotte, Blink 182, TATU, 3doors down, the fray, aly and aj, bon jovi, bowling for soup, aerosmith, the all american rejects, kelly clarkson, anna nolick, shakira, eminem, Sum 41, swithfoot, dixie chicks, pink, rihanna, thousand foot krutch, day of fire, linkin park, butch walker, metallica, and evanescense, i mostly like rock or pop, and a little bit of country. my favorite song has to be....................................................whiskey in the jar by metallica or fuel by metallica, because avril lavigne and metallica sang that song, so two of my favs sang it.

i appreciate most music genres...from alt rock to emo/indie types...classical...grunge... etc. i also dig jap pop. now, i'm listening to utada hikaru (even though i don't really understand most of her songs coz they're in japanese). a good kind of music just makes my day...oh, and i love the smashing pumpkins sounds as well...too bad, they've already disbanded.
