Hey, I'm only 14, and we sound a lot alike. My voice teacher and I argue a lot because I hate people telling me how to sing, which doesn't bode well for my musical career. You could write some songs (poems work very well) and find someone to help you record them, then send them in to several record companies, asking for feedback. This is what I'm working on currently. I'm good at writing lyrics but not so good at writing music for them!

Everyone gets really pissed off when I sing because I sing constantly, but I don't get discouraged. Someday I'll achieve my dream, and you will too! Keep working at it, and see you in Hollywood! :)

I am 19 years old. I have always wanted to be a singer. However, you have to realize that this is not something that can happen overnight. You need to take lessons for several years, if not longer. Enter any and every singing/talent contest that you can find. In a couple years, save up some money to make a demo CD. Definitely go to college for vocal performance. Depending on where you live, there are some great schools for music. Find a band, or form one yourself, and try to get gigs performing at fairs, festivals, parties, and (if you are 18 or over at this time) clubs and bars. You never know who might be listening. Record a CD with the band and sell them at all of your gigs. Eventually, you MAY be discovered. Just work really hard and remember that even though it seems like it will never happen, anything is possible. Just remember, it's really important to finish high school and at least start college. You can make a lot of good connections through professors and studio teachers in college. If you have any questions or just want to talk more about it, email me wilymudd@yahoo.com

That is dependent... do you've average vocal skills? if now not, do you've the force to increase what you've? do you've a particular sound? do you simply have the want to sing for a crowd or are you watching to be a pop celebrity, make plenty of cash, and reside within the lap of luxurious? I'm assuming that, given that you may have named a few essential stars, you are asking how do those stars get to be stars. Even when you have average skills, your great wager is to get with a voice train to aid you be trained breath manipulate and to best track your skillability. I'm definite you may have visible American Idol and the way all the ones men and women make fools of themselves on countrywide tv. The the very first thing is you must be spotted on your skillability. And the one option to do that's to sing. Join a band. Make a demo. Pass it out to radio stations, golf equipment, lounges. Play regional reside venues. Sing. Sing. Sing. Make contacts. This could be very most important. Not simply with different artists, however enterprise men and women. Everybody is aware of anyone... you can not be reclusive and desire to make it within the track trade. Be reclusive after you may have been learned and feature a internet valued at of fifty million.
