Possibly, some patients could relate to them better if the patients are Latino too. The nurses could translate if necessary. Also, the nurses can be an inspiration and a mentor for young latinos/latinas to consider going into the field of nursing. We need you, both genders, any ethnic group!!!!!!

I guess diversity and a second language helps, but anyone can speak spanish or some other language. Today, any one who wants to be a nurse helps!

Like all nurses do - their race should not matter. Latinas are very hard working, compassionate and caring - and funny! Race makes no difference - what does -is the individual.

They dont, and latino is plural, you do not need an 's'. I hope you do not help the patients fill in paperwork.
