My friend is trying to get a divorce but doesnt have the money to hire a lawyer. She has 2 kids, my God children, and we dont see that the father is a fit dad. anyone know how to get a lawyer to take the case probono?

Legal Aid doesn't help b/c they have to be "taking" your type of case for that particular year.

Best way is to go on the State's Bar Association website and look for lawyers who do "pro bono" (free) work. They should be listed on there.

Call social services and see what they can do - they should be able to direct you to a low cost or no cost lawyer.
