Why is it that when someone tells you that there's billions of stars in the universe,
you believe them. But if they tell you there's wet paint somewhere you have to touch it?

hahahaha yeah. and i am one of those people . i just can't help my self i have to touch it to see if it is really wet :~)

If someone tells me Billions stars in universe i don't believe that. If you tell me there is wet paint i do believe you.

I touch stars all the time but I've never touched wet paint

Because one is within our control, and the other is beyond our understanding. Good question. That... that was actually very good. I've seen some stupid questions, and some absurdly personal questions that should'nt exist, but I love this question. Wow. It's really nice. There's no controversy... only thought and wondering.
