um, I'm sure you will figure things out easily enough ... just from this question i can tell your worried about doing everything perfectly ..but don't ...my kids rarely ever needed a blanket as long as they are dressed according to the room temperature ... but if you do need a blanket one or two receiving blankets should be enough ...

That would depend on where you live and what the weather is like in two months. If it's still a bit warm, I would say only one, but if it's a bit chilly then, I would put a light recieving blanket and a regular blanket in just to be on the safe side. Just make sure you keep the blanket far enough away from the baby's face...they actually tell you now not to put a blanket on a small baby at all but i don't see a big problem as long as you're keeping a close eye.

You are not supposed to have thick blankets near an infant when they are sleeping due to suffocation hazards. Take a thin blanket, maybe a receiving one, and tuck it around your baby. Make sure to not bring it up to close to the baby's face. Also make sure to always lay your baby on their back, it protects from sudden infant death syndrome(SIDS). The rule of thumb for new parents is to dress babies like you would dress your self. Therefore, if you wear shorts your baby would feel comfortable temp wise wearing shorts also. If you are fine with a thin blanket your baby will be too.

NONE!!!!
first you need to see if your baby likes being cool or warm. If all else fails, put one in the bottom (tucked in under the mat.)
A light sheet or receiving blanket is recommended

You shouldn't put any blankets or stuffed animals in a newborns sleeping area. Havn't you heard of SIDS? Just dress him/her warmly, and you won't need a blanket.
