If he was a cute geek or a nice geek. I am a geek myself so I don't really care, as long as he takes a shower often and has some sort of ability to converse with others.

I would and have. We were 18 and it was 1979. He looked like John Denver right down to the glasses. In addition to the glasses, when we started dating he was 1 week away from getting his braces off. To top all that off, he was deaf in his left ear. What most people didn't see was his fantastically fit body, with just the right amount of chest/body hair, his sweet nature, his good sense of humor and other "attributes." It broke my heart to have to move 1500 miles away with my family!

Yes.. You never know how people will turn out later..
As it turned out, my husband looked like a geek..
Mr. Rogers sweater, glasses, etc.. something I never knew before.
When we met, he was a drummer in a Rock N Roll band - with hair down to his a$$..

I suppose.... it depends on how geeky he looks, and what his personality is like.
I know that sounds kinda superficial, but let's face it. If he picks his nose behind his books DURING CLASS, I'm not exactly gonna try to jump his bones.
