how can I setup wpa or wep security for laptop?

hi I bought a wireless pc card for laptop 802.11g 54g compusa brande my guestion is how I can set up the wpa or wep security option pls help

As has been said previously, you'll need to access the properties of your wireless adapter.

However, you'll also need to configure wep or wpa on your wireless access point. You normally will access the access point configuration through your web browser by pointing it to 192.168.1.1
