i believe the pressure would collapse their internal organs.

just as in space, your orgrans literally explode without a protective suit, the opposite happens that far underwater

to demonstrate what would happen, get an empty plastic bottle with a screw top, and take that into a swimming pool and try to get it as deep into the water as you can (you may want to try with some weights as it will be quite hard), you will notice that it is crushed on the way down, thats what happens to your body in effect

due to the laws of physics, since the pressure outside the body at 6 miles below the ocean surface is higher than the pressure inside your body, the person will be crushed from the external pressure.
OR. If the pressure is not enough to kill the person then they will develop a disease called "bends" where nitrogen bubbles enter the blood stream and kill u.
OR If "bends" does not kill u, you can survive if u can hold your breath for a six miles swim, which is 20-30 mins.

well, while the Trieste did in fact go deeper

it would be impossible to leave the sub with 14,000 psi needed to open the hatch. on the other hand, if the sub imploded - instant death

No the pressure at that depth would crush you instantly. Like a styrofoam cup.

No. They would be crushed by the pressure of the water at that depth.
