Me and my girlfriend have been dating for 3 and a half years now, and now she has to leave the country (Canada) and go to the United States for University. And it is hard to cope, its killing me and im just wondering if anyone has any ideas how we can get through it, she'll be there for 4 years, and it will be hard to see her on weekends as she will be travelling to play soccer.

She'll be there for a reason and it's for your the future of both of you. If you can't go with her, you have no choice but to cope up with a long distance relationship. It is a very hard set up but if both of you are destined to be partners in life, it will work out. Be patient and trust her. Sacrifice a bit, this obstacle can make you more stronger and establish a better relationship foundation. Of course you should visit her sometimes and communicate with al all the times. Good luck!

Is there any possibility that you can go with her? Just remember she is doing this to better herself. You can keep in touch with email and frequent phone calls. It is going to be hard.
