Well, here in Canada, we've had people charged with assault and mischief for cream pie-ing Premiers (e.g., Ralph Klein, Jean Charest) and the Prime Miniister (e.g., Jean Chretien).
I suspect the same would be true in the U.S. However, given the President's security service and the current tensions present in the country, I strongly wouldn't recommend it -- the aftermath would probably not be pleasant.

you can be arrested for public humility.
some guy sprayed Tom Cruse in the face with water during an interview and he like gave the guy a piece of his mind and later had him arrested for it.
